Over the past month South and East facing walls of The Playhouse have been usnder some refurbishment work. Both the South and East side of the building are exposed to the weather and over the years has been hit by harsh winds and rain. The damage was starting to show and it was decided that it needed re-pointing.

The work cost the Playhouse under £5,000 and the final result is impressive. At the recent committee meeting, Sleaford Little Theatre's Chairman said the work looked "stunning" and was impressed with the workmen who carried out the job as they tried "4 different mixes to make sure it matched the stone work".

Next the Society at the Playhouse wants to restore the wooden windows all the way around the building as they are starting to come into disrepair. This will complete all the refurbishment projects that needs completeing.
